This delicious kale stem pesto pasta with chickpeas from our friends over at @foodwastefeast. In addition to sharing this recipe with us (check out the link in our bio), Co-founder of @meimeiboston Mei Li taught us some tips for cooking with dried beans. Cooking with dried beans is easy, versatile, and can help cut down on the amount of BPA we come into contact with from cans. A win on every count. .

That means every time you touch a receipt, you are getting some BPA dust on your hands. In this modern world we are living in where email receipts are everywhere (and there are options for bisphenol free receipt paper) there is really no need for companies to print long paper receipts covered in chemicals like BPA. If you agree, take literally 30 seconds and add your name to this petition telling @target to lead the way in making a switch away from toxic receipts. Link in profile.

You know, those random slips of paper that end up crumpled at the bottom of your bag that are really only helpful if you need to get rid of that peice of gum you've been chewing on for two hours. Well, the easiest thing you can do is just say "nope, I don't need a receipt" next time you are checking out. By not touching it, you're lowering the amount of BPA you come in contact with in a day. Yep, #BPA, that stuff that you don't want in your water bottle or canned food, is also covering receipts. Saying no to receipts, and asking brands like @Target to switch to BPA free recitps, is greatly improving your health.
