Sometimes we do too, because, let's be real, while it would be great to be able to buy everything organic all the time, sometimes that just can't happen. So, we are sharing our favorite tip for prioritizing which produce items are worth the extra $$. Just think Leafy Berry Skins. It's our own silly mnemonic because with all the other things we have to remember, a long list just isn't gonna stick. So, what does Leafy Berry Skins mean? It means when you are shopping for fruits and veg, prioritize organic options for leafy items like spinach and lettuce, berries of all kinds, and other things where you eat the skins like peppers, apples, and tomatoes (as opposed to items you peel).

It's a big step for protecting kids and the food we eat! Thank you @nrdc_org for sharing and helping make this happen.

REPOST: The EPA illegally delayed its ban on chlorpyrifos, so we sued and won!💪⚖ Today, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals sided with @NRDC, @Earthjustice, and our partners, and ruled that the EPA must finalize its ban on chlorpyrifos—a pesticide linked to learning disabilities in children—from use on produce sold in the U.S. within 60 days. 🥦🌶🥕🍓 Learn more about this case by visiting the link in our bio.
