Now, it's time to clean them. Before you take your sweaters to the dry cleaners, check out our tips on how to hand wash most sweaters (yes even wool! ) or options for wet cleaning, which involves less toxic chemicals.
With so many logos and confusing all natural and green claims, we break it all down for you. Find out what certifications like EPA Safer Choice and Certified Biodegradable mean, and what label claims like "natural" and "unscented" actually don't mean! Check out the article through the link in bio.

Here are our two favorite DIY options in a 16oz spray bottle. The first is pretty much just vinegar and water. It's super effective and if the vinegar smell bugs you (we swear it goes away as soon as it dries), just add a drop or two of your favorite essential oil. We love peppermint! And, if you switch up your cleaning supplies to DIY versions or safer, non-toxic versions, you can make your cleaning routine even healthier. Check out our green cleaning checklist if you're lost on where to start.
