Theo is an environmental health epidemiologist and champion of wholesome cooking. He graduated from the University of California - Berkeley School of Public Health with his M.S. in Global Health & the Environment where he researched how climate change influences infectious disease dynamics. Previously, Theo received his B.S. in microbiology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison where he conducted health impact assessments on the Eastern Cape of South Africa and managed the arboviral surveillance system at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Currently, Theo manages the development and research of a disease registry platform at a healthtech company in San Francisco. Outside of work, he enjoys mountaineering and foraging in the Pacific for sea urchins, crabs, clams, and fish.
